Warranty Policy
Product Warranty: DermaTrac™️ Magic Smart Mirror
The DermaTrac Magic Smart Mirror is a specialist brand member of the Vanguard Design Group Pty Ltd, A.C.N. 104 411 314. Your purchase is covered by this comprehensive warranty, governed by the terms of the Vanguard Design Group Warranty Policy.
I. Warranty Duration

If the Product or its part is found upon inspection by a Vanguard authorised representative to be defective in construction, materials, composition, or assembly within the relevant period, it will be repaired or exchanged at no charge to the Purchaser.
II. Essential Warranty Conditions
To ensure your warranty remains valid, the following conditions must be satisfied:

Professional Installation: As a mains-wired electrical product, the DermaTrac Magic Smart Mirror must be fully installed by a qualified and licensed electrician, and evidence must be provided upon claim.

Proof of Purchase: The original proof and date of purchase must be provided.

Original Purchaser: The claimant must be the original purchaser of the Product.

Due Care: Installation and handling must be done with due care and in accordance with all instructions provided.

Reporting Defects: The claimed defect must be reported to Vanguard Design Group within 5 business days of discovery.
III. Warranty Limitations (What is NOT Covered)
The Warranty does not cover faults, damage, or loss caused by:

Normal wear and tear, including changes to product finishes, scratches, chips, or dents.

Misuse, improper or abnormal use, or failure to follow correct operating or care instructions.

Installation, in part or whole, by a person who is not a qualified and licensed installer (electrician).

Repairs or tampering by unauthorised technicians, or the use of non-original spare parts.

Damage to the mirror or electronics resulting from an accident, poor storage, dampness, liquid, fire, misuse, or vandalism.

Any damage caused by chemical, abrasive, or electrical influences.
IV. Making a Warranty Claim
In the event that you believe you are entitled to make a claim under this Warranty, you must notify Vanguard within 5 business days after discovering the defect.
Please contact our customer service team via the details in the footer. You will be provided with an online form to complete, requiring your original order number, the detailed reason for the claim, and any supporting photos.
Australian Consumer Law
Vanguard goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and to compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.
